Ingredients

  • 2-3 bananas, frozen
  • 1 cup almond milk, or milk of your choice (soy, oat, regular)
  • 1 tsp. of matcha green tea powder
  • 1tsp. of vanilla bean paste, or you can add more to your liking
  • Ice (a handful is all you need)
  • Natural sweetener (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  2. Enjoy your refreshing summer drink!

Notes

  • Prefer to go without bananas? Try 1 cup of frozen mango, instead.
  • Matcha green tea powder can be found in most grocery stores. Trader Joe’s sells it in convenient single-serving packets!
  • Vanilla bean paste is most often located in the spice aisle of your grocery store.
  • This smoothie is sweet on its own, but feel free to swirl in a little honey or maple syrup for an extra-special treat.
